The Committee notes the reports received in December 2003 and in August 2005 on the application of the Convention exclusively in the Republic of Serbia. It requests the Government to provide in its next report full information on the application of the Convention in both the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Montenegro. The Committee also requests the Government to provide information on the following aspects of its application in the Republic of Serbia.

Republic of Serbia

1. Competence of the inspection services in agriculture. Please indicate the legal provisions establishing which enterprises fall within the competence of the system of labour inspection in agriculture, as well as the different categories of workers whose protection is guaranteed by the system (Article 4 of the Convention). Please provide the text of Act on Safety in the Workplace in Agriculture in the version that is currently in force.

2. Training of labour inspectors in agriculture. Please describe the measures adopted or envisaged to ensure that the labour inspectors receive adequate training for the performance of their duties in agriculture (Article 9, paragraph 3).

3. Agricultural undertakings liable to inspection and persons working therein. Please provide information on the number of agricultural undertakings liable to inspection and the persons working therein (Articles 14 and 27(c)).

4. Annual report on inspection in agriculture. Please describe the measures taken to ensure the publication of a report on the work of the inspection services in agriculture, containing the information required under Article 27, either as a separate report or as part of the general annual inspection report, and its communication to the International Labour Office within the deadlines provided by Article 26.
