A worker at an electroforming plant (Argentina) uses a new electric drill acquired on the recommendation of ILO experts. By replacing hand drills with electric drills, the plant considerably increased productivity. A productivity centre aimed at providing Argentine industry with more managers and productivity specialists, line supervisors and skilled workers was set up by the Argentine Government with UNDP's assistance. ILO was in charge of the project's technical leadership. Undated.
