Govt. of Saint Kitts and Nevis (11 July 2024)
As per transcript of register, dated today, the subject vessel has an expired registration effective 28 March 2023. Prior to the expiration, the vessel has been in a laid-up status.

We shall attempt to contact the owners for rectification of the abandonment claim however noting the abandonment claim has been in effect since 01 May 2024, 401 days after the registration expired, we believe it will be a challenging task.

From S&P Global Market Intelligence:

Our records show vessel under St. Kitts & Nevis flag since it was registered on 20th September 2022.
We have had no update / information on this vessel since this date from St. Kitts & Nevis.

Our policy is to keep vessel registered under a flag until we are informed by the existing Flag Administration that is has been cancelled or by new Flag Administration that vessel has now been registered under their flag.

If we were advised by the Flag Administration that the vessel’s registration had expired and vessel had been deleted then we would have updated our records accordingly.

An additional point worth mentioning.
As you are aware, on behalf of the IMO, we conduct the yearly IMO Tonnage Assessment exercise. This exercise involves us agreeing, with each Flag Administration, details of vessel registered under their flag as at 30th June.
Figures agreed with St. Kitts & Nevis for vessels registered under their flag as at 30th June 2023 included this vessel, SAI ARAMBH, IMO 9115456.
