Comments and Observations:ITF (2 August 2024)
The shipowner states that the seafarer damaged the ship's machinery, did not fulfil his duties to maintain the machinery, that machines broke down and therefore company suffered huge financial losses, and they will only pay the salaries of June and July 2024.

They will deduct the other months due to the damage the company suffered.

The owner also stated that they are selling the ship.

Both S&P Global and Lloyd’s List Intelligence, who we import our maritime data from, show that the vessel changed name from HARPER TRADER to GRAND MBA in December 2023

Messaging Tanzania to get them to confirm name change which they haven’t informed us about.
Finding it extremely difficult in getting info from them.

The company claims that the seafarer damaged the machinery and suffered great damage because he did not perform maintenance and repair.

The seafarer left the vessel without receiving his salary.
