This year’s competition was very successful and included the participation of 210 journalists and reporters from 69 countries around the world. The competition’s reviewing committee had the difficult task of shortlisting 25 entries among outstanding pieces, and an independent panel composed of 5 international judges did the excellent job of selecting the following four final winners (two in the “Written articles” category and two in the “Video/Multimedia” category):

The global media competition has proven to be one effective way to encourage unbiased and quality media coverage on labour migration.
